I am working with survey data. The survey is pushed out to respondents on a weekly basis to get over time data. However, not all respondents complete the survey each week. I created a dimension to categorize respondents into those who have just completed one survey, those who have completed 2-3 surveys, and those who have completed 4 or more surveys. The dimension is based on a calc that is fixed at Respondent ID (which is a dimension that has a unique value for each respondent). When I put this dimension on filter, it works great as long as I have the Respondent ID in the view. As soon as I remove it from view, only the "4 or more" option appears in the filter. I can't figure out why. Please see Sample Workbook attached. I would GREATLY appreciate anyone's help on this one.

    Hello Amelia,

Remove the SUM aggregation from your calculation. when you remove id, it it taking the sum across all id's instead of just one at a time. So it is always above 4.

IF ([Number of Reports Per Respondent Across Dates])=1 THEN "Respondents with 1 Response"

ELSEIF ([Number of Reports Per Respondent Across Dates])>1 AND  ([Number of Reports Per Respondent Across Dates])<=3 THEN "Respondents with 2-3 Responses"

ELSEIF ([Number of Reports Per Respondent Across Dates])>=4 THEN "Respondents with 4+ Responses"

    ELSE NULL

    END

    Hope this helps!
