This isn't a business requirement I was asked to do. However, I recently started a new position with a great new company and one of my first assignments was to make "Case Notes" default to "Public" when created. 

 

I've been given this user story many times in my career so I knew immediately how to accomplish this once I realized "Case Notes" was really "Case Comments". So my questions isn't how to do the user story I was given, my question is how would one change "Case Comments" to "Case Notes", as I thought this object wasn't configurable? Oh, and the standard fields on this object have been renamed too. How is this possible?
