Trying to Change OwnerID - Perplexed by Process Error

Question

I have a Process Builder that has two actions. First, it updates and Account's Parent to match the owner. Then, it changes the account's children. The flow will change the parent account's owner with no problems at all - but causes an error when the child account owner attempts to be changed.

The error is the following:

The value of a parameter contains a character that is not allowed or the value exceeds the maximum allowed length. Remove the character from the parameter value or reduce the value length and resubmit.
