We recently moved over to Gmail and now are beginning to play with Google Drive. I noticed this coincides with Salesforce showing some Google Docs integration. My issue is I have content cataloged in Salesforce and now have Drive, and I am unclear as to my path forward regarding the two platforms.

I like the version control and content reports of Salesforce, also like the visibility I get from sending Content Packs. I think because I am less familiar with Drive, I am not confident in the ownership/control aspect of the content.

My initial thought is to catalog content in SF, so I am the keeper of it and can handle version control there. Then I could disseminate it quickly to my org via Drive. However, I fear the dual system and have not investigated how the two work together.

Can anyone guide me...? Or has gone down this path and can speak from their experience? Thanks.
