Add Knowledge to the Site Using Topics
Set Navigational Topics
You enabled topics earlier in this project. Now set up three topics that Category 1 Biking has chosen as top topics for their site: Social Groups, New Products, and Customer Support. You update those from Experience Workspaces.
- Click the setup gear and select Service Setup.
- Enter
All Sites
in Quick Find, then select All Sites. - Next to Category 1 Biking, click Workspaces.
- Select the Content Management tile.
- Click Topics.
- Select Navigational Topics.
- In Enter a navigational topic, enter
Customer Support
and click + Add. - In Enter a navigational topic, enter
Social Groups
and click + Add. - In Enter a navigational topic, enter
New Products
and click + Add. - Click Save.
Set Featured Topics
Now set these topics as featured on your site.
- Select Featured Topics.
- Click in the Select a topic box and select Customer Support.
- Click + Add.
- Click in the Select a topic box and select Social Groups.
- Click + Add.
- Click in the Select a topic box and select New Products.
- Click + Add.
- Click Save.
Add Topics to Articles
Finally, associate these topics with the articles you created previously in the project.
- Select Article Management.
- Click the pencil icon next to When will my bike arrive?
- In Add Topic, begin typing
Customer
and then select Customer Support. - Click Save.
- Click the pencil icon next to How can I find local bike groups?
- In Add Topic, begin typing
Social
and then select Social Groups. - Click Save.
- Click the pencil icon next to When is the T-800 coming out?
- In Add Topic, begin typing
New
and then select New Products. - Click Save.
Note: To access the articles associated to your site, visit Workspaces > Content Management tile > Topics tab > Article Management.
Your Category 1 Biking site is cruising along. Now it’s time to switch gears and add components and branding in the next step.
