Decipher the Code and Escape
Now that they installed the special package and added a cool Halloween background, Codey says, “We have our playground set up. Let’s follow the steps to check out the flow and see what we need to decipher.” Here’s how they do it.
- From Setup, type
flowsin the Quick Find box, then click Flows listed under Process Automation.
- Click the Last Modified column to make it easy to find the flow.
- Click Escape from Flow Manor to open the flow.
- Click Run.
Note: As you work with this flow, you may need to reposition or resize the flow to see the flow elements you need to interact with. Click the Zoom and Fit to Canvas buttons in the Screen sizing options 
in the lower left corner of your screen as needed to fit the flow to your screen. You may have to do this multiple times in order to see all the flow elements as you work to update the flow.
“I see three fields named A1, B2, and C3,” says Einstein. Everyone leans closer to the screen to get a better look.
“Hmmm,” says Ruth, “it looks like we need to put something in the fields, but there are locks in the A1 field.”
“Click Decipher and see what happens,” suggests Einstein. Ruth clicks Decipher, and a numerical slider bar appears with the words “SOUR AND” beneath it.
“Hmmm,” Ruth says again, “SOUR AND. I bet that’s part of the code phrase we need to solve the escape room challenge. But we only have two words, and the message on the screen says we need a four-word Halloween phrase.”
“And we need to unlock that A1 field,” Max reminds his friends.
“I bet everything will begin to make sense once we just start looking for clues. Let’s go!” says Appy.
The host speaks up from the corner of the room.
“The activity is your starting point, and where you discover the clues you need to begin solving this challenge,” she says. “When you get to the flow part of the puzzle in your Trailhead Playground, you’ll find helpful guidance in the description fields of the flow elements. If you need even more help, come back here and check the Hints section.”

The hints are in the order you work with them in the flow in your playground. Just remember that the Escape from Flow Manor activity has the final pieces to solving the puzzle and escaping from Flow Manor.
Max and his friends have done lots of exploring and found all the clues! Everyone tumbles out of the escape room, laughing and high-fiving each other, eager to rejoin the party.
“Wait!” says Appy. “We need to check the work we did in the flow and collect our points. And earn the badge, too.”
