Hands-on challenges are the “secret sauce” of Trailhead. Before searching for solutions to superbadge challenges, review the Salesforce Certification Program Agreement and Policies. ** NOTE ** : If you were able to get a response that solved your issue, please mark it as the 'Best Answer' to help other Trailblazers. If the issue persists after 48 hours, create a Trailhead Help case at https://help.salesforce.com/s/support for further assistance.

Hello I'm referring to the "Build with Agentforce Builder" module.

I've completed all the instructions listed as part of the hands-on in my Develope Org.

I've also tested the Agent and it's working as expected.

However, when I click to verify the channel, I received the following message:

"Challenge not yet complete in Agentforce Builder Org.

Make sure you have created and connected to the Developer Edition org for Agentforce Builder."

Any clue? Thank you in advance

Hi, I am stuck at this part and I cant finish this training:

Test the Basic Agent

  1. Select the Preview tab. Wait a moment while it saves the agent.
  2. Since this is the first time you’re using this agent, you need to associate it with a specific user with the right permissions to do its tasks, such as running Flows and using Prompt Templates. In the Assign user record window, choose Select User.
  3. Select EinsteinServiceAgent User as the Agent’s User Record.
  4. Select Save.

Hi Azzeddine, if you’re stuck at the Assign user record step, please verify that you’re using the specific Playground provided by the Trailhead module and not a separate Developer Edition or sandbox.

    Then:

    1. Open the agent in Agentforce Builder and go to Preview.
    2. Wait for the agent to finish saving.
    3. When Assign user record appears, select Select User.
    4. Search for and select EinsteinServiceAgent User.
    5. Click Save and continue testing the agent.

If EinsteinServiceAgent User exists but cannot be selected, or you receive an error such as “We couldn't assign the Agent User”, please share the exact error message and a screenshot of the user record. If the issue persists in the correct hands-on org, please create a case with Salesforce Support for further investigation.

When testing my agent (all other steps seem to have been completed correctly), it won't book my session - it comes back "I am unable to retrieve available dates for Underground Cave Exploration at this moment" and "I am unable to proceed with booking at this moment." Of course the error message checking the challenge gives me is the most generic thing ever and doesn't give me a single clue about where I went wrong..."Challenge not yet complete in kweyhrauch@developeredition.com

Whoops, looks like there was a problem. Please try again." Help?!

Hi everyone,

I’m currently preparing for the Agentforce Specialist certification and I’m looking for the latest study materials and hands-on learning resources.

I tried a few courses on Udemy, but many of them seem outdated and some of the features shown in the videos are not available in my Developer Edition org. Because of this, I’m unable to complete several of the hands-on tasks demonstrated in those tutorials.

Does anyone know of recent training, hands-on labs, or updated videos that cover the current Agentforce features? Any guidance or recommended resources would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hi Prathyusha, I recently went through this certification myself and completely understand the frustration with outdated Udemy content. Here is a comprehensive, up-to-date study guide that actually reflects the current Spring '26 state of Agentforce:

OFFICIAL SALESFORCE RESOURCES (Most Important - Always Current)

    1. Agentforce Specialist Exam Guide:

    help.salesforce.com

    - search "Agentforce Specialist exam guide" - study every topic listed

    2. Trailhead Trail: "Get Ready for Agentforce" - this is THE official prep trail, updated regularly

    3. Trailhead Trail: "Design and Implement AI Agents with Agentforce" - covers building, testing, deploying

    4. Trailhead Module: "Agentforce for Admins" - foundational concepts

    5. Trailhead Module: "Prompt Builder" - critical for the exam

KEY EXAM TOPICS TO MASTER (Based on Exam Guide):

    - Agentforce architecture: Agents, Topics, Actions, Instructions

    - Types of agents: Service Agent, Sales Agent, SDR Agent, Internal Agents

    - Agent Builder vs Agentforce Studio

    - How Topics and Actions work together

    - Prompt Templates (Standard, Flex, Sales Email types)

    - Grounding: what it is, how Data Cloud and Knowledge ground agents

    - Testing agents in Agent Builder Preview pane

    - Agentforce for Slack and Agentforce for Mobile

    - Einstein Trust Layer: data masking, toxicity detection, audit trail

    - Agent Analytics and monitoring

DEV ORG AVAILABILITY ISSUE (Your Main Problem)

Many Agentforce features require specific Einstein/Agentforce add-on licenses that the standard Developer Edition org does NOT include. Here is how to get proper hands-on access:

    - Request a free Agentforce Developer Edition from:

    developer.salesforce.com/agentforce

(look for "Agentforce Dev Org" - these have Einstein licenses included)

    - Use Trailhead Playground orgs created specifically from Agentforce badges/superbadges - these provision the right licenses automatically

    - Look for the "Quick Start: Agentforce" Trailhead project - it provisions a properly licensed scratch org

    SUPERBADGES TO COMPLETE:

    - "Quick Start: Build Your First Agent with Agentforce" (beginner)

    - "Agentforce Service Agent" superbadge

    - "Build Agents with Agentforce" trail

    FREE LIVE RESOURCES:

    - Salesforce Ben's Agentforce certification guide on

    Salesforceben.com

    (free, very current)

    -

    Agentblazer.com

    - official community for Agentforce practitioners

    - TDX (Salesforce TrailblazerDX) session recordings on YouTube - March 2026 content is very relevant

Avoid Udemy entirely for this cert - the platform moves too fast. Stick to official Trailhead and Salesforce Help documentation.

Good luck with the exam - it is very achievable with the right resources!

Dear Trailhead Support Team,

I am facing a technical issue while completing the Trailhead unit “Configure and Activate Your Sales Coaching Agent” under “Build Your First Sales Coach.”

I have been trying to complete this challenge for several weeks, but I am blocked at the step where I need to open and modify the prompt template associated with:

Agentforce Sales Coach: Give Feedback on Negotiation/Review Stage

I followed the required path:

Setup → Agentforce Assets → Actions → Agentforce Sales Coach: Give Feedback on Negotiation/Review Stage → Reference Action → Open Prompt Template

However, when I click the Open in New Tab icon for the Reference Action, Prompt Builder opens but remains stuck on the loading spinner indefinitely, so I cannot edit the prompt template.

I have already verified the following:

  • I am using the Agentforce Playground launched directly from this Trailhead challenge.
  • Einstein is enabled (ON) in Einstein Setup.
  • Prompt Template Manager permission set is assigned and active for my user.
  • Prompt Builder itself opens successfully.
  • The Sales Coach Agent has been created.
  • The NegotiationRolePlay subagent is configured.
  • Agentforce Sales Coach: Give Feedback on Negotiation/Review Stage has been added under Actions Available for Reasoning.
  • The Reference Action Type correctly shows Prompt Template.
  • The Reference Action shows Active.
  • I have tried refreshing, signing out and back in, reopening the Playground from Trailhead, and using a private/incognito browser session.
  • The specific referenced prompt template still does not load.

Because the prompt template does not open, I cannot complete the required steps to add the two <NEGOTIATION QUESTIONS>, save a new version, activate the updated prompt template, and finish the challenge.

My Agentforce Playground is currently available until August 22, 2026 at 5:30 AM GMT+5:30, so I am concerned that it may expire before this technical issue is resolved.

Could you please check whether the required Salesforce-managed Sales Coach prompt template is correctly provisioned in my Agentforce Playground, or advise how I can resolve this issue without restarting the entire challenge?

I can provide screenshots of the loading issue, Einstein Setup, permission assignment, Agentforce Assets Reference Action, and Agentforce Builder configuration if required.

Thank you.

# Support Question **Why is the “Agentforce Sales Coach: Give Feedback on Negotiation/Review Stage” Prompt Template stuck loading indefinitely in my Agentforce Playground even though Einstein is enabled and Prompt Template Manager permission is assigned?

    Hi Mukhesh,

Since you've already ruled out permissions/Einstein enablement, this looks like it's failing to load the actual GenAI model/backend resolution for that specific standard (managed) prompt template — not a config issue on your side. A few things to try before the Playground expires:

    1. Check Data Cloud provisioning status (Setup > Data Cloud Setup). Standard Sales Coach prompt templates sometimes depend on Data Cloud being fully provisioned, not just Einstein toggled on — if it shows "Get Started" instead of fully provisioned, that's a likely cause.

    2. Try a different network — corporate VPNs/firewalls can silently block the API calls Prompt Builder needs to resolve a standard template, causing an infinite spinner rather than an error. Test on mobile data or a different network entirely.

    3. Check Setup > Einstein Generative AI — confirm there isn't a region/data residency restriction blocking the specific managed template tied to Sales Coach.

    4. Try opening the same prompt template directly from Setup > Prompt Builder > All Prompt Templates (search by name) instead of via the Reference Action link — sometimes the direct link path resolves differently than the in-context "Open in New Tab" flow.

Given your Playground expiry is close, I'd submit a Trailhead Help case now (not wait) — reference that this is a standard/managed Sales Coach prompt template failing to load (not a custom one), and ask for a Playground extension given the active troubleshooting:

    @Christopher Readeaux

That error is coming from Postman, not Salesforce - the browser version of Postman routes every request through its Cloud Agent, and Unable to reach the Cloud Agent means that cloud service is unreachable or blocked for you, so the connection test never actually goes out. Fix: stop using the Cloud Agent. The most reliable option is the Postman DESKTOP app, which sends requests straight from your machine and is what Salesforce recommends for their API collections. If you want to stay in the browser, install the Postman Desktop Agent, then pick Desktop Agent in the agent selector at the bottom of the request area (or Settings - Agents) and confirm it shows Connected; also allow

postman.com and getpostman.com through any VPN, firewall, or ad blocker. Re-run the connection test with the desktop app or Desktop Agent active and it will complete. if this helps, please mark it as the Best Answer so it helps the next person - thanks

Hi everyone,

I am currently working through the Trailhead module Build with Agentforce Builder(https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/modules/quick-start-assemble-a-service-agent-with-agentforce-builder/build-with-agentforce-builder?trail_id=become-an-agentblazer-champion-2026), but I have run into a roadblock that is preventing me from completing the challenge.

When I reach the initial setup screen ("What do you want your agent to do?"), I enter the required instructions and press Enter (or click the send button). However, the interface gets stuck loading, the page does not change, and it fails to open the agent configuration or naming screen.

To troubleshoot, I tried the following steps:

Tested it in a completely brand-new Trailhead Playground.

Attempted the process in a separate, secondary organization.

Unfortunately, the issue persists across different environments. In my current playground, I can see that Agentforce is already provisioned with pre-existing sample agents (such as default, coral cloud agent, and coral cloud experienceAgent), but the custom prompt creation step continues to hang.

Has anyone encountered this UI block, or is there an alternative workaround to successfully create or configure the agent for this specific challenge?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi,

I am trying to complete Agentforce Testing Center => Use AI to Generate Tests, but I am stuck at step #14.

I have tried creating a new trial org but same issue.  I have seen few folks having the same issue

https://trailhead.salesforce.com/trailblazer-community/feed/0D5KX00000mn76v0AA

, but there is no resolution yet.

Does somebody has any idea how to pass this step? Do we need special permission?

Thanks,

Kilic

@Kilic Beg I’m seeing the same kind of reports from others, so this may not be a permission issue on your side.

Trailhead says this step can take a bit and that you may need to refresh the browser after generating the test cases. But if it stays on “creating test cases” for a long time, especially across a fresh org, it looks more like a backend/Trailhead org issue than a normal setup step.

    Before raising a case:

Activate the agent first, then go back to Batch Test and generate the test cases again. Someone in a similar thread said that helped them.

Also make sure you are using the special Developer Edition org from the previous unit, not a normal trial org or playground. Trailhead specifically says this unit needs that special DE org.

If it still gets stuck after that, I would log a Trailhead/Salesforce Support case and include the module name, step 14, org ID, screenshot, and the exact time you tried it. The thread you linked does not have a confirmed workaround yet, so Support may need to clear or investigate it from the backend.

    Hey Cyrus,

You're not doing anything wrong — this is expected. Salesforce rolled out a new version of Agentforce Builder that replaced the old form-based, tab-by-tab layout (Topics/Actions/Testing/Settings as separate tabs) with a new workspace centered on "Canvas View." Canvas View shows your agent's Topics, Actions, and logic as visual, connected blocks (which is what looks like a flowchart to you) instead of the old simple form fields.

Under the hood, everything is powered by Agent Script now — Canvas View is just a visual summary of that script, and you can also flip to "Script view" to see/edit the raw script directly. Both views stay in sync with each other.

Why this matters for your Trailhead challenge specifically: a lot of Trailhead modules and superbadges (especially older Agentforce ones) were written against the old "Legacy Agentforce Builder" and expect that classic form layout. If you're on a new agent in the new builder, the challenge steps/screenshots won't match what you see.

Fix: When creating your agent (from the Agentforce Agents page in Setup, or Agentforce Studio), look for the option to use the Legacy Agentforce Builder instead of accepting "Let's Go" under "Try the new Agentforce Builder!" Some challenges explicitly call this out and will fail validation if you use the new builder by mistake.

    Reference:

    https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ai.agent_builder_studio.htm&language=en_US&type=5

If you let me know which specific module/superbadge you're working through, I can confirm whether it's Legacy-only.

    Hi Tobias,

If your agent is working correctly but Trailhead still shows “Task not yet completed in Agentforce Builder,” I’d first make sure you’re working in the exact Trailhead Playground connected to the challenge.

Also, double-check the challenge requirements carefully. Trailhead verification usually checks the specific configuration, names, actions, topics, or instructions—not just whether the agent works when you test it.

After making sure everything matches the instructions, save the agent, refresh Agentforce Builder, and then run the challenge verification again.

If everything matches the challenge requirements and it still isn’t recognized, I’d recommend creating a Trailhead Help/Salesforce Support case so they can check the verification from their side.

    Hope this helps!
