#Trailhead Challenges2,021 discussing

Hands-on challenges are the “secret sauce” of Trailhead. Before searching for solutions to superbadge challenges, review the Salesforce Certification Program Agreement and Policies. ** NOTE ** : If you were able to get a response that solved your issue, please mark it as the 'Best Answer' to help other Trailblazers. If the issue persists after 48 hours, create a Trailhead Help case at https://help.salesforce.com/s/support for further assistance.

I am unable to complete this challenge. I am getting this error message for the below challenge:

Error :  Sales Coach Agent can't be assigned the Agentforce Sales Coach User permission set license, because Sales Coach Agent's user license doesn't support it.

Grant Users Access to Sales Coaching

For this project, you need to assign yourself some permissions that let you configure and use the Agentforce sales coaching agent.

  1. From the Agentforce Sales Coach Setup page, click Step 3: Grant Access to Agentforce Sales Coach to expand this section.
  2. Click the first Go to Permission Sets next to Assign Users to Manage Agentforce Sales Coach.
  3. This opens a new tab where you can assign the Manage Agentforce Sales Coach permission set. Click Add Assignments.
  4. Check the box next to YOUR NAME, click Assign, and click Done. You’ve now granted yourself the ability to manage Agentforce Sales Coach. You can close this tab and return to the Agentforce Sales Coach Setup tab.
  5. In Step 3: Grant Access to Agentforce Sales Coach, click Go to Permission Sets next to Assign Users to Access Agentforce Sales Coach.
  6. This opens a new tab where you can assign the Use Agentforce Sales Coach permission set. Click Add Assignments.
  7. Check the box next to YOUR NAME, click Assign, and click Done. You now can use Agentforce Sales Coach. You can close this tab and return to the Agentforce Sales Coach Setup tab.

I am configuring and activating your Salesforce agent, and I am not able to commit the version of my sales coach agent. I have done the steps twice, checked permissions, waited for a day, and it still does not work. I could not find an answer in any of the Trailblazer posts that I saw. What can I do to fix this?

    Hi Rishab,

If you're unable to Commit and Activate

your Sales Coach agent, try the following troubleshooting steps:

    1. Save all pending changes in Agent Builder before committing.
    2. Verify that all required topics, actions, instructions, and prompts are configured without validation errors.
    3. Ensure Einstein and Agentforce are enabled in your org and that your user has the required permission sets.
    4. Refresh the browser, clear the cache, or try an incognito/private window.
    5. Check Setup → Jobs (or Deployment Status, if applicable) for any background jobs that may have failed.
    6. If your agent references Flows, Prompt Templates, Apex actions, or other assets, make sure they are active and error-free.
    7. Try creating a new version of the agent and commit that version instead.
    8. If the issue persists after waiting, it may be a temporary backend issue affecting Agentforce provisioning.

If you're still unable to commit the version, please share:

    • The exact error message displayed during the commit.
    • A screenshot of the Agent Builder page.
    • Whether the Commit button fails immediately or remains in progress indefinitely.

That information will help determine whether it's a configuration issue or a platform-side problem.

Hi everyone,

I am currently working on the "Enable Sales Coaching in Agentforce" hands-on challenge (part of the Build Your First Sales Coach project).

When I open the Prompt Builder, the workspace workspace elements appear grayed out, and the loading spinner in the center keeps buffering infinitely. I am unable to select a model type, choose a model, or test/preview the prompt workspace.

I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps with no luck:

  • Clearing my browser cache, cookies, and using an Incognito window.
  • Verifying that my Data Cloud setup and user permission sets are active.
  • Retrying the step on a completely fresh Agentforce playground organization.

Has anyone else encountered this infinite loading wheel bug during this specific Agentforce module? Any advice on how to get Prompt Builder to load completely so I can complete the challenge would be highly appreciated!

Thank you!

    What was happening:

When launching the hands-on challenge, my Trailhead profile was actively tracking one org (the specific Agentforce playground), but the system kept launching me into a different background Developer Edition org where the backend generative AI handshakes weren't active. Because the backend features weren't fully provisioned in the org I was actually looking at, the Prompt Builder UI canvas just spun forever.

    How to fix it step-by-step:

If you are facing this, you need to wipe your active org registry clean so Trailhead forces a brand-new, correctly linked connection:

    1. Go to your global Hands-On Orgs management page: Open a new browser tab and navigate directly to [https://trailhead.salesforce.com/users/profiles/orgs](https://trailhead.salesforce.com/users/profiles/orgs).
    2. Disconnect the conflicting orgs: Find the old Agentforce org and the Developer Edition org you are currently stuck in, and click Disconnect on both. (Tip: If the disconnect buttons are grayed out, click the "Create Playground" button to build a quick dummy playground—this unlocks the interface).
    3. Request a fresh Playground: Go back to the Build Your First Sales Coach module page and refresh the page.
    4. Launch and Complete: You will now see a clean option to provision a new Agentforce Playground. Click it, let it build for a few minutes, and launch it.

Once I did this clean slate reset, Prompt Builder loaded up instantly with zero buffering, and I was able to successfully complete the challenge and secure the Agentblazer Innovator status!

Build Your First Sales Coach Badge – Sales Coach template missing in a newly created Agentforce Playground

Description:

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to complete the Build Your First Sales Coach badge, specifically the Configure and Activate Your Sales Coaching Agent unit, but I'm blocked because my newly created Agentforce Playground doesn't match the Trailhead instructions.

Here's what I've done:

  •  Created a brand new Agentforce Playground by clicking Create Playground on the badge page.
  •  Waited for my previous playground to expire before creating this new one.
  •  Completed the prerequisite setup steps.
  •  Agentforce is enabled.

However, when I reach Step 4 → Configure and Activate Agentforce Sales Coach → Go to Agent Builder, I don't get the Agentforce Sales Coach template shown in the Trailhead instructions.

Instead, I'm taken to a generic "Name your agent" screen where I have to create a blank agent.

On Setup → Agentforce Agents, I only see:

  •  Coral Cloud Agent
  •  Coral Cloud Experience Agent

There is no Sales Coach Agent, no Sales Coach subagents (such as Opportunity Coaching or Negotiation/Review Role-Play), and no Sales Coach assets to configure.

The legacy builder is available (I can open Coral Cloud Agent in Builder), but it contains 0 subagents, so it doesn't match the badge instructions.

Has anyone experienced this recently? Is there a way to provision the missing Sales Coach template, or is this a known issue with newly created Agentforce Playgrounds?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    1. I have assigned permission set to my profile from assign permission set to user in Agentforce sales manager user

    2. After creating sales Coach Agent User we have to go to permission set assignment and add agentforce sales coach to enable permission set.

    3. I have completed this module again and didn't face any error.

    4. Please follow all steps correctly.

    5. Hope this will solve you're problem.
