#Trailhead Challenges1,642 discussing

Hands-on challenges are the “secret sauce” of Trailhead. Before searching for solutions to superbadge challenges, review the Salesforce Certification Program Agreement and Policies. ** NOTE ** : If you were able to get a response that solved your issue, please mark it as the 'Best Answer' to help other Trailblazers. If the issue persists after 48 hours, create a Trailhead Help case at https://help.salesforce.com/s/support for further assistance.

If you are getting an error even though you are connected to the correct dev org, I encourage you to get help from the Trailhead support team.

Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong:

Review the Decision element's three outcomes in the Refund Request Flow. Make sure that the outcome conditions are referencing the ID of the order record of the Get Current Order element ({!Get_Current_Order.Id}) and the ID of the line item record from the Get Order Line Item element ({!Get_Order_Line_Item.Id}), not a related record's ID. Confirm that the condition operators uses "Is Null". See the Help article for more details on this challenge.

I'm working on the Trailhead challenge "Data Security > Control Access to Fields".

I installed the Recruiting package (04t0P000000N9rs), and I can see Candidate, Position, and Job Application objects.

I created the permission set:

  • Label: Manage Job Applications
  • API Name: Manage_Job_Applications
  • License: None

Job Application object permissions:

  • Read = Enabled
  • Edit = Enabled

However, the Candidate and Position field permissions are greyed out everywhere (Permission Set and Field-Level Security pages). Salesforce does not allow me to change them to read-only.

The challenge still returns:

"We can't find that the 'Manage Job Applications' permission set grants read access and edit access to all Job Application fields, except edit access for Position and Candidate."

Has anyone found a workaround or confirmed whether a special Developer Edition org is required?

We can’t find a Get Records element called Get Newly Created Refund Request, or it isn’t configured as specified. Make sure you've updated the existing element's label and the API name is updated to Get_Newly_Created_Refund_Request . The filter condition should match on the value {!Create_Refund_Request} and the element should store the new Refund Request record in the {!refundRequestOut} variable with the fields specified.

I completed the user creation as required by the challenge, but received a "not found" error.

When managing user access permissions, the user I created cannot be found.

    Hi @Naveen Dharmarapu

Most probably you're using Outlook or any other email tool with some security features included. These are changing the underlying URL with something like "securelink" which redirects you to the login instead of the change password page.

I don't have a proper solution for it - just a workaround: you can spin up a new org, but use any personal web-based email address (like yahoo, gmail or whatever). These web-based emails usually don't change the URL, so you will be able to set your password and use the new dev org.
