#Trailhead Challenges2,371 discussing

Hands-on challenges are the “secret sauce” of Trailhead. Before searching for solutions to superbadge challenges, review the Salesforce Certification Program Agreement and Policies.

I have logged in and attempting the Salesforce Platform Basics chapter 1 challenge: Salesforce Platform Basics - Unlock Business Success with Salesforce Data Platform.

First time,

I successfully added the field name , loan amount, into the object name , contact. This I did in a new ever playground created by me. I got my points.

Second time and onwards,

I have created other playgrounds for more practices. Now onwards, I can add the same field into same object (as mentioned earlier), but it is not visible in details tab of the object.

what is the reason for two different output?

Please help.

Hey,

I couldn't complete the challenge in

Salesforce Platform Basics ->Unlock Business Success with Salesforce Data Platform

I followed the instructions and created the field as mentioned but still getting the error.

Field details:

Create a field on the Contact object

Field data type: Currency

Field label: Loan Amount

Field name: Loan_Amount

Error: Challenge not yet complete in My Trailhead Playground 1

The field 'Loan_Amount__c' either does not exist on the Contact object or it is not of type currency.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you :)

    Hi @Sai anugnya Vk ,

Could you please make sure that you are checking challenge against correct Playground.

You need to check if somehow you missed field level security Click on the field and check field level security.

    1. From Setup, open Object Manager, and then in the Quick Find box, enter the name of the object containing the field.
    2. Select the object, and then click Fields & Relationships.
    3. Select the field you want to modify.
    4. Click Set Field-Level Security.
    5. Specify the field's access level.
    6. Save your changes.
