#Trailhead Challenges2,403 discussing

Hands-on challenges are the “secret sauce” of Trailhead. Before searching for solutions to superbadge challenges, review the Salesforce Certification Program Agreement and Policies.

Not able to complete and earn badge for "Migrate Users with User Access Policies".  When i am creating hands-on org it is not creating public group for this badge. I tried creating group and completing module, however despite policy is applied it showing error for challenge check.

Challenge not yet complete in Curious Bear Playground

It looks like the ‘Tier_3_Group_Setup user access policy was not applied. Make sure you’ve applied the policy and haven’t automated it.

    Hi, @Lawanya Kush

For this Challenge you should use Special Dev Org with Prerequired Data:

Like as mentioned at the start of this Challenge:

Sign Up for a Developer Edition Org

To complete this module, you need a special Developer Edition org that contains user access policies and our sample data. Get the free Developer Edition and connect it to Trailhead now so you can complete the challenges in this module. Note that this Developer Edition is designed to work with the challenges in this badge, and may not work for other badges. Always check that you’re using the Trailhead Playground or special Developer Edition org that we recommend.

    1. Sign up for a free Developer Edition org with user access policies.
    2. Fill out the form:
      • For Email, enter an active email address.
      • For Username, enter a username that looks like an email address and is unique, but it doesn't need to be a valid email account (for example, yourname@example.com).
    3. After you fill out the form, click Sign me up. A confirmation message appears.
    4. When you receive the activation email (this might take a few minutes), open it and click Verify Account.
    5. Complete your registration by setting your password and challenge question. Tip: Save your username, password, and login URL in a secure place—such as a password manager—for easy access later.
    6. You are logged in to your Developer Edition.

Now connect your new Developer Edition org to Trailhead.

    1. Make sure you're logged in to your Trailhead account.
    2. In the Challenge section at the bottom of this page, click the org name and then click Connect Org.
    3. On the login screen, enter the username and password for the Developer Edition you just set up.
    4. On the Allow Access? screen, click Allow.
    5. On the Want to connect this org for hands-on challenges? screen, click Yes! Save it.
    6. You are redirected back to the challenge page and ready to use your new Developer Edition to earn this badge.

    Sincerely,

    Mykhailo Vdovychenko

I have upgraded the LWC Package mentionend in the unit,  also I already create the boatPicker LWC and copied the code from

boatPicker.js

boatPicker.html

boatPicker.css

After that I uploaded this new LWC to the org, after I click on Check Challenge to earn 500   points button, but I got the next message:

We can't run the pre-work code in this org. Try again, and if the error persists, please log a case with the Trailhead help team.

    Meanwhile I found the cause.

It seems that there were a few orgs linked to this Trailhead Challenge.

The one that was attempted to be launched was expired.

After spinning up a new org, it worked.

My product suggestion would be to include this in the error message that is displayed to the user.

I am beyond excited to share that I’ve completed FOUR incredible Trailhead Quests:

  • Seize The Trail 2025
  • Get Started with Data Cloud
  • Get Started with Flow
  • Serviceblazer Quest: AI for Customer Service

What an amazing journey it’s been! I’ve gained tons of new knowledge and hands-on experience, and I’m ready to tackle even bigger challenges ahead. 🚀

A huge shoutout to the Trailhead community for being such an inspiration and support system throughout the process! 🙌 Onward and upward! 💡

Here’s to many more achievements ahead! 💪

Your Challenge

Create a Permission Set to Handle Field Access

One of the requirements of our Recruiting app is that Hiring Managers can update job applications, but they can’t change the related candidate or position. Create a permission set that gives the correct access.

Need Help?

  • Review common issues.
  • Get help on the challenges for this specific module.
  • Create a permission set:
    • Label: Manage Job Applications
    • API Name: Manage_Job_Applications
    • Add a description (We won’t check for this.)
    • License: -None-
    • Enable Job Application Object Permissions: Read and Edit
    • Enable Job Application Field Permissions: Assigned users can view all fields and edit all fields, except they can’t edit Position and Candidate.
