Unable to do the Create and Customize List Views Learning Objectives Challenge

I'm trying to create a custom Opportunity List View in Salesforce Lightning, filtered by Stage (Proposal/Price Quote or Negotiation/Review) and Probability (greater than or equal to 50%). However, I’m unable to select StageName or Probability fields in the filter options.

I’ve checked the field-level security settings, but the fields are not appearing for filtering. Could you assist in ensuring these fields are visible and available for use in list views?

I am getting stuck on the hands on challange Customize Record Highlights with Compact Layouts, getting error message Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong: Could not find a compact layout with the label 'New Oppty Compact Layout'. 

Create a custom Opportunity compact layout

 

When the Ursa Major Solar salespeople are on site with a customer, there are a few key fields they need to see right at the top of an opportunity record when they access Salesforce. Create a compact layout that will help them do that.

 

Create a new compact layout for the Opportunity object with the label New Oppty Compact Layout

 

Include these fields, in this order: Opportunity Name, Probability (%), Close Date, Stage, Amount, Opportunity Owner

 

Make it the primary compact layout

 

I know i am proberly missing something quiet basic but cannot see what it is.

    I did the same thing! You are in the wrong area though, that was where you needed to be for the example Create a Compact Layout section. For the challenge, everything is about the same except this:

Hi Trailblazers, 

             I am visiting

Dive Into Sales Cloud for Admins ->Customize a Sales Path for Your Team ->Customize Opportunity Stages 

as per trailhead guidance while am changing the record type for opportunity its showing you don't have access for any other opportunity please help me to solve this issue

Hi. I am having issues with the create and customize view list. I followed the various steps and i am getting an error that it is not configured correctly. Has anyone had the same issue. If you have please let me know what i did wrong. Thank You

    Thanks for coming back to me.

     

    This is the error that i am getting and it comes from Admin Beginner, lightning Experience customization > create and customize list views

     

    The 'High Probability Opportunities' list view does not appear to be configured correctly. It should show only opportunities whose stage is 'Proposal/Price Quote' or 'Negotiation/Review', and whose probability is greater than or equal to 50%.

Unable to Customize Sales Path: "No More Record Types Available" Error

Hello Everyone,

I’m currently working on the "Customize a Sales Path for Your Team" module, specifically the "Customize Opportunity Stages" section.

In Step 1, I’m required to name the path and choose an object. Here’s the setup I’ve entered:

  • Path Name: North American Sales Path
  • API Reference Name: North_American_Sales_Path
  • Object: Opportunity

However, I am encountering the issue:

Has anyone else faced this issue? How can I resolve it? Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

    Make sure that all Challenges from this topic are completed in the same Playground. Each subsequent Challenge builds on the previous one.

Cant get the path settings page to load, any advice?

I'm doing the Customize Opportunity Stages section of the Customize A Sales Path for Your Team project, and the first step is to go to Path Settings in Setup, but when I click on Path Settings it wont load, it just gives a blank screen (see below).

 

I am using Google Chrome, I tried using a different browser (Microsoft Edge), clearing the cache on Chrome, and using an Incognito window. It did not work in any of them, though Incognito gave me the option of using Salesforce Classic because it blocks cross site cookies.

If we cannot figure it out then I will just stumble my way through classic.

    Hey everyone!

    I ran into the same issue while working on a Superbadge—Path Settings wouldn’t open, and I tried everything I could think of.

    After a lot of trial and error, I finally found a workaround: using Opera with a VPN. I logged into my org on Opera + VPN, and everything worked perfectly!

    If you're stuck on this too, give it a shot and see if it works. Good luck!

Can't Find "United Oil Office Portable Generators" Record in Opportunity Object

Hi Trailblazers,

I'm currently working on the "Customize Opportunity Stages" module in Trailhead, and I’m stuck because I can’t find the United Oil Office Portable Generators record in the Opportunity object.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  1. Searched for the record globally.
  2. Checked the Opportunity list views.
  3. Ensured I’m in the correct Trailhead playground.

Despite this, I’m unable to locate the record. Do I need to create this Opportunity manually, or am I missing something? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Customized Opportunity Stages

When working on the Path Settings my tabs say 'Value Proposition', 'id Decision Makers' and Perception Analysis. I don't have Prospecting. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks

    @Arati Sawant,

    •  If not working, then try in new fresh org, it might be the existing record causing the issues in your org.
