Good day @Tamás Haga, Below are detailed steps to achieve this format:

    • Access the Reports tab: Log in to Salesforce and go to the "Reports" tab.
    • Create a new report: Click "New Report" to start building your matrix report.
    • Select the report type: Choose the appropriate object (e.g., "Opportunity")
    • Add row groupings: In the "Group By" section, drag and drop the fields you want to display in the rows of your matrix.
    • Add column groupings: Similarly, drag and drop the fields you want to display in the columns of your matrix.
    • Preview and save: Click "Run" to preview your matrix report, and then save it with a descriptive name for future use.

Hello There, I am currently working on this in the Using Filter Logic section. At first I created the report on the Accounts, but the screen shot and the instructions are to apply filter logic on an Opportunities report and there was no filter logice so I decided to create the report on the Opps level. However, the Filter logic option is greyed out for me and I can't choose it. Any guidance is appreciated. https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/modules/lex_implementation_reports_dashboards/lex_implementation_reports_dashboards_filter_your_report

    Hi, @Cheysa Brito

    1. Try to delete this Dashboard.
    2. After them delete report Opportunities by Rep
    3. Create new Opportunity report and following this instructions create this report LINK
    4. After that, return to working with the Dashboard and try adding this Report to your Dashboard again.

    Hi,

Congratulations on passing your Salesforce Certified Associate exam and reaching Ranger rank on Trailhead! 🎉 You're off to a great start. Now, it's time to focus on gaining handson experience and preparing for an entrylevel job in the Salesforce ecosystem. Here's a stepbystep guide to help you:

     1. Build HandsOn Experience

To stand out to employers, you need practical experience. Here's how to get it:

     a. Complete RealWorld Projects

Trailhead Projects: Focus on handson projects that simulate realworld scenarios.

     b. Create a Developer Org

Set up a Developer Org (free) and practice building custom objects, workflows, reports, and dashboards.

Experiment with Apex, LWC, and Flows to automate processes.

     c. Contribute to Open Source

Explore Salesforce related opensource projects on GitHub and contribute to them. This will help you collaborate with others and improve your coding skills.

     2. Follow a Structured Trailmix

     3. Prepare for the Next Certification

While the Salesforce Certified Associate is a great starting point, earning the Salesforce Administrator certification will make you more competitive for entrylevel roles.

Steps to Prepare for Salesforce Administrator Certification:

    1. Study Topics:

        Data Management

        Security and Access

        Automation (Process Builder, Flows)

        Reports and Dashboards

        App Development Basics

    2. Trailhead Resources:

    3. Practice Exams:

Use platforms like Focus on Force or Salesforce Ben to take practice exams.

    4. Network and Join the Salesforce Community

Networking is key to finding job opportunities. Here's how to get involved:

     a. Join Salesforce Communities

     c. LinkedIn Networking

Update your LinkedIn profile to highlight your Salesforce certifications and Trailhead achievements.

Connect with Salesforce professionals and recruiters.

     Join Salesforcerelated LinkedIn groups.

     5. Apply for EntryLevel Jobs

Here are some entrylevel roles to target:

     Salesforce Administrator

     Junior Salesforce Consultant

     Salesforce Support Specialist

     Business Analyst (Salesforce)

     Salesforce Intern

     Job Search Tips:

Use job boards like LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor.

Search for "Salesforce" or "CRM" roles.

Look for companies that are part of the Salesforce Partner Program (they often hire entrylevel talent).

     6. Build a Portfolio

Create a portfolio to showcase your skills and projects. Include:

Trailhead Badges and Certifications: Highlight your achievements.

Projects: Describe the apps, automations, or solutions you’ve built.

Volunteer Work: Mention any pro bono Salesforce work you’ve done.

LinkedIn Recommendations: Ask for recommendations from peers or mentors.

     7. Practice Interview Questions

Prepare for common Salesforce interview questions, such as:

     What is a Salesforce object?

How do you create a report in Salesforce?

What is the difference between a profile and a permission set?

How do you automate processes in Salesforce?

     8. Stay Consistent and Keep Learning

Dedicate time daily to learning and practicing Salesforce.

Follow Salesforce blogs like Salesforce Ben and Admin Hero for tips and updates.

Keep earning Trailhead badges to strengthen your profile.

     Next Steps

    1. Complete the Trailmix mentioned above.

    2. Start applying for jobs while continuing to build your skills.

    3. Network actively and seek mentorship from experienced Salesforce professionals.

I have a report that tracks opportunity creation progress based on a customized period (e.g., 2 weeks as one period). To align with our review cadence, I need to adjust the starting date as shown in the example below (1,7).

The expected outcome is to use a column chart to present the progress trend. However, since the periods (e.g., Period -2, Period -1, Period 1, Period 2, Period 3, Period 4) are in text format, they are displayed randomly in the chart instead of being sorted correctly.

Is it possible to create a row-level formula to achieve the desired custom week numbering and enable proper sorting in the column chart?

Thank you,

"Period " & TEXT(FLOOR((datevalue(CUST_CREATED_DATE)- DATE(2024, 1, 7)) / 14) + 1)

    Hello@Heather Huang,

    • Note: If you don't see checkboxes next to the opportunities, it may be because you've applied opportunity record types in this org. If so, apply the following filter to the all opportunities list view: Within the filter menu, click Add Filter > Field = Opportunity Record Type, Operator = equals, Value = 0 options selected > Click Done > Click Save.
    • in there is no record type then select all opportunity , update the date for one record then check the checkbox to uptake allHello,Note: If you don't see checkboxes next to the opportunities, it may be because you've applied opportunity record types in this org.

If you still on the Account report, you cant do... You need to create a new report with Opportunity, than set All time, than put in the filters:

    1. Amount greater than 100000.
    2. Probability (%) greater than 50.

After that, the filter logic will be enabled to you.
