In the "Become a chatter expert" module, I am unable  find the "Chatter Expert" user for adding to the group. Search is not giving any matching results. Due to this, I am unable to complete the challenge. 

 

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I can't figure out what is the problem, is a simple challenge, i did everything but i get always this error "Ensure that you are following all the instructions for posting to a Chatter group."

 

  

What is the problem???

    Hi , 

     

    FYI for anyone else who has this problem- I noticed that when I copy/pasted the "Hi support people" message into Trailhead it added extra spaces I didn't notice at first. Removing them fixed this for me.

    I think you forgot to add this in all support group:

    1. Post a welcome message to the All Support group. In the "Share an update..." section, post the following message: Welcome to the All Support group, which replaces the All Support email list.
    2. Click Share.

I have followed all the steps for Customize your Homepage and troubleshooting tips i.e. cleared  the browser cache, cookies etc, used a different playground and followed all the steps but I still keep getting this error. ie Ensure that you moved the Case object from the Available column to the Selected column.

    Hi,

    I am doing the Salesforce Admin course in that first Project which is after the Salesforce platform basics module, where Customize home page is the first hands on. I have followed all steps properly but could not get points and I am not only getting points only these hands on but next two also, 1) Create a unique account list view,2) Create chatter groups.

    Please suggest a solution.

What's the difference between public or private chatter group. who can see when its public or private.

    Hi ,

     

    Types of Chatter group:

     

    1. Public : Anyone can join a public group.

    2. Private : Only group members can see and add posts, comments, and files.

    3. UnListed : Only group members and users with the “Manage Unlisted Groups” permission can see and add posts, comments, and files. People can’t ask to join the group.

    4. Groups with customers :Private and unlisted groups can allow customers.

    5. Archived : When a group is archived, people can no longer create posts but previous posts are retained for reference.

Energy consultant is not showing in app launcher?

plz help to resolve so i can move forward ty.

    Hi, @Abdul Wahab

     

    Make sure that all Challenges from this topic are completed in the same Playground. Each subsequent Challenge builds on the previous one.

     

    For example, the instructions on how to create Energy Consultations are provided in this Challenge (in the second challenge on this topic  LINK

     

    1. From the Home tab in Setup, enter App in the Quick Find box, then select App Manager.
    2. Click New Lightning App. Walk through the Lightning App Wizard, creating an app with these parameters.
      • App Name: Energy Consultations
      • Description: Track energy audits and product recommendations.
      • Image: Your choice! Use a JPG, PNG, BMP, or GIF image that’s smaller than 5 MB. For best results, upload an image that’s 128 by 128 pixels. Images larger than the maximum display of 128 by 128 pixels are automatically resized.
      • Primary Hex Color Value: #FA8B05
      • Org Theme Options: Select the checkbox.
      • App Options and Utility Items: Leave as is.
      • Navigation Items: Add these items in this order: Home, Chatter, Groups, Energy Audits, Accounts, Contacts, Products, Tasks
      • Assigned to user profile: System Administrator. Maria would assign it to her consultants’ user profile, but for our purposes, it’s easier to test if we set it to System Administrator.
    3. Click Save and Finish to exit the wizard.

    I am going to send a screenshot of my create chatter group and can someone see where I went wrong and where is the entre button on salesforce because that is the only step I think I may have missed

    Hello,

     

    Having the same issue, except I have created the users Fumiko and Aaron, and I have added them to the group. Their names are spelled correctly, no additional spaces/characters either. When I go to verify the step, it says Did not find Aaron Hartzler and/or Fumiko Suzuki as member of the 'Edge Communications Customer Support' chatter group. 

     

    Double checked user details to make sure license and roles were correct, and have also received an email each time for each user saying that they were added to the group.

Hi Everyone,

 

I've been trying to sort this out on my own and can't figure it out! For context, I was completing this challenge and when I went to see my flow in Action, nothing came up. I received this error:

 

"Review the errors on this page. We can't save this record because the “Fully Operational Space Station” process failed. Give your Salesforce admin these details. Verify the combination of your "Target Name Or ID" and "Target Type" fields to make sure you provide a valid user, Chatter group, or record to post to. Error ID: 1227810164-252459 (-1984209710)ovide a valid user, Chatter group, or record to post to. Error ID: 1227810164-252459 (-1984209710) "

 

I went to redo the flow and when I tried to save it I got this error: 

 

 Fully_Operational_Space_Station-1 already exists. 

 

I then accidentally deleted ALL the flows in my current playground. Thinking I could just start from scratch since I deleted everything I went back and re-did the flow and got the same error message about it already existing.

 

I corrected all the errors and realize where I went wrong in the challenge initially, but now cannot complete properly. Should I just create a new playground? And what will the deletion of all the flows do to the current playground I have been completing the majority of my challenges in? Will it now cause me to not be able to complete challenges within that particular playground?

I am trying to complete the trainings for the Salesforce Administration Certification, however my progress was halted due to an error for the following module:

Hello everyone, im having some problems while creating a new Group-chatter, because when i try to share an update it gets deleted while im writting. I dont know if im the only one or if there is anything i can do to fix it. Thanks in advanced
