i can create a order from quote even the status of quote is "Draft". It is Amend Quote, can anyone clarify this. can we create or not. Thanks in advance

    Yes, you can create an order from a quote even if its status is "Draft," as long as the quote is an Amendment of an existing quote. In Salesforce CPQ, Amend Quotes are typically used to modify existing contracts or subscriptions. The system allows you to generate an order from an amended quote, even if it's in a draft status, to make changes or update details before finalizing the order. However, if you need stricter control, you can configure the system to block order creation from draft quotes through custom validation rules or settings.
