 Hi all 👋

 How do you translate Salesforce

cybersecurity and security best practices knowledge from the trails into clear functional requirements that can be applied to a Salesforce org? Any real-world examples, frameworks, or lessons learned would be appreciated.

I am an eGRC professional with a background in security and compliance, and I’m looking to transition into a security-focused role within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Could anyone guide me on the best path to become a security professional specifically for Salesforce products? I assume the first step would be to learn Salesforce Administration — are there any recommended Trailheads or learning paths that cover not just general administration, but also delve into Salesforce product security and its implementation?

Additionally, are there career opportunities or roles within the Salesforce ecosystem that focus specifically on security?

Thanks in advance for your guidance!

Let me know if you want to tailor this for a specific audience (e.g., LinkedIn post, Salesforce Trailblazer community, etc.).

    Hi Vijay,

Learn the fundamentals of Salesforce, but along the way, always think of GRC related projects that you can do. As GRC is transforming, many are moving more towards GRC engineering roles. So think about ways to facilitate GRC requirements and control implementation in Salesforce environments.

I want to introduce myself. I am new to Salesforce and new to Cybersecurity. I am looking forward to picking up new skills for this Industry. I have been looking to transition out of Senior Fitness for some time now, and working on this platform really brings an extra sense of schooling that I was missing.

Hi All. I've recently join this community. I was looking for this kind of community for way too long. I'm stuck at my current role. Looking since past 1.5 years to switch to Cybersecurity Industry. Tried so many tutorials, lectures and whatnot. But now I've a feeling that joining this community would make my dream come true. Thanks all of you for accepting me as one of the members of this group.

Hello everyone in the community. How are you? I hope so. I have a degree in Information Security, but I don't work in the area, I want to start in the Salesforce world, and I want to pursue a career in cybersecurity at Salesforce. What do I want to know where to start? First as an Administrator, learn and understand CRM and then move on to Cybersecurity, or do I go straight into Salesforce Cybersecurity? If I go directly into Cybersecurity, where do I start, what are the paths to follow and after finishing and acquiring all the knowledge, can I now apply for jobs? Thank you in advance.

Hi again @Laura Buonaiuto -- first of all, thank you for sharing all the details of your experience with me! We appreciate your feedback, as we are always looking to improve our sites' experience.

I checked with the team and this message ("Not seeing any classes? Check back soon as we're actively working to add more classes to the schedule.") is shown when there are no class seats available for a course. I checked internally and it seems these classes were fully booked very quickly.

We are looking into the possibility of adding more availability in the future. Please stay tuned! Thank you again and apologies for the inconveniences.
