We are excited to share the launch of a new feature in Starter and Pro Suites: e-commerce storefronts. 

    

This new feature enables businesses to quickly realize revenue through a direct-to-consumer (D2C) e-commerce storefront- helping businesses sell goods and services online, seamlessly.

 

What’s new: 

With new Storefront capabilities in Starter and Pro Suites, businesses can:

  • Quickly create and launch a branded online store using the drag-and-drop, low-code website designer
  • Leverage guided setup and simplified tools for managing products, pricing, promotions, and checkouts. 
  • Optimize online store performance with built-in storefront analytics dashboards

Availability 

  • Storefronts will be available to Starter Suite, Pro Suite, and Salesforce Foundations customers starting today, Oct 16, 2024
  • Only US customers can access Storefront at this time

    While I wasn't able to figure out why the Opportunity record page would not change when assigned as Org Wide default, but when the record page was assigned to the Sales app it updated.     

     

    If you experience this issue, try assigning the record page to an app.

    Hello. Can someone help me understand how to share the Email Preference Page, or some other way of getting contacts to opt in to my email marketing campaigns? I understand how to add the unsubscribe link so they can opt-out but the sign-up functionality is throwing me off. 

     

    Do i create a landing page with a form for them to sign-up?

    Hi @Nettie Mitchell-Brudnick I found a bug with the latest release, where users may not see new fields that are added to the layout because the system admin is assigned the new commerce page layout (even if you haven't setup commerce cloud).

    I verified this with the Salesforce product team and put together a video on how users can fix it.     In addition to the free trial, I am also interested in obtaining a demonstration environment specifically for the Consulting Partner Edition, which includes the Pro Suite edition. Could you please provide guidance on how I can access this demonstration environment?

    @Williams Fuentes Cortes Hello! Thank you for your inquiry. The upgrade path is standard for core sales and service functionality. Customers are able to upgrade from Starter & Pro Suite to Enterprise Edition today, and maintain their data / metadata.

πŸ“£ New for Salesforce Easy: Spotlight and Homepage, Quicklook Trail, Admin Podcast, and Feedback Survey

 

We have a few exciting announcements for Salesforce Easy! First, we’ve released two new features that are now available for all Easy users: Spotlight and Homepage. 

 

Spotlight onboards new users to Easy with a personalized, guided experience. Based on their sign-up survey selections, users are directed to key features β€” Leads, Contacts, Opportunities, and more β€” that drive the most business value for their role, whether they’re focused on selling, customer service, or both. With these features, customers see faster time to value and boost productivity across their team.

 

Homepage is a new dashboard that provides a snapshot of your daily activities and where users can take quick actions. Users can quickly see high-priority Opportunities, get updates on Leads and Contacts, and take action with individual To-do Lists and Recommended Actions. The Homepage gives users an easily accessible overview of their business’s health to help users save time and be more efficient.

 

In addition to the new features, we’re excited to share the new Salesforce Easy Quicklook Trail. This is a great way to quickly get acquainted with Salesforce Easy and learn about its features and functionality β€” and earn a brand new Trailhead badge! Check it out here.

πŸ“£ Update: Salesforce Easy is now Salesforce Starter πŸ“£

 

We’re excited to share that Salesforce Easy has a new name: say hello to Salesforce Starter.

 

Don’t worry, that doesn’t mean it’s more difficult. Salesforce Starter Suite is still the fastest and easiest way to get started with Salesforce CRM. The new name is more reflective of its value for first-time CRM users β€” a powerful and easy-to-use suite of sales, service, and marketing tools for building stronger customer relationships.

 

A big thank you to our pilot users, early adopters, MVPs, and admins whose feedback has shaped our roadmap over the past year. You're going to hear more about Starter in the coming months, with even more features and value to experience in upcoming releases (stay tuned for this summer πŸ™Œ).

    Trial versions of Salesforce Starter may take a few minutes for the marketing features to be ready. You should receive an update once they're enabled.

    @Rupert Barrow 

    Please let me know if this answers your questions:

    • If an App says it's compatible with Essentials and does not have Custom Objects, it should install. A guideline for AppExchange and Starter is that Starter does not support custom objects. 
    • Only Starter licenses can be purchased for Salesforce Starter.
    • Your unique "My domain" name with Starter can't be changed.
    • The only available Add-on purchase for Starter is the Email Sends Bundle, which adds an additional 1,000 email sends for $10 per month.
