I've looked high and low, and still don't have clarity about creating an account lookup alias/nickname/another name known by.  Is this possible in Nonprofit Cloud? I'm most recently coming from Raiser's Edge and fully expected to be able to deploy something like this in order to reduce account duplication. Our organization has lots of non-data folks creating accounts on a regular basis and the duplication situation is a problem. 

 

I'm grateful for any information out there is Trailblazer-land might be able to provide!

I downloaded the data loader file from here https://developer.salesforce.com/tools/data-loader. And, then I extracted the files to my local computer (I tried various locations including just the C: drive). I have windows 11. But when I click on the install.bat file (or run command), the file won't open. I see a flash of a black rectangle on my screen when I click on the batch file but then nothing happens. Can someone please help me?

Does anyone know if this is possible? I'm able to do this in the current builder, but not the new experience.

    Same issue here

    .  

     

    The new email editor in Account engagement only enables to select one email preference page with all public lists. 

     

    We can't select a specific e-mail preference page. 

     

    The ussue have been reported many times but no change ?

In Classic, the Notes & Attachments related list includes actions like "Edit," "View," and "Delete." However, in the Lightning app, I am unable to edit attachments. How can I add a "Edit" row action for editing attachments in this related list?

When subscripting to the lightning__conversationAgentSend in an LWC we only receive text content. Anything that is a link with a preview image or a media message is excluded from being send to our LWC. This has caused a lot of missed messages in our Bring Your Own Channel set up. Is there any plans to include media messages/attachements in the future?

    Hey @Andrew Hintz

     

    I don't think Pardot provide direct filters for "Created By" or "Last Updated By" in dynamic segmentation lists. 

    Workaround

    • Create custom fields (e.g., "Created By" and "Last Updated By") and populate them using automation rules or workflows. 
    • Set up rules to assign prospects to lists based on the data you track in custom fields. 

     

    This allows filtering prospects by creator or last updater indirectly.

I have an informational Chatter Group that we want to categorize in subgroups by various topics (Training Documents, Enhancements, User Suggestions, etc.). Is this possible ?

Pop Up Guidance is a great tool for providing education drips so that users can get more value out of Salesforce.   

 

Why isn't this functionality available to Experience Cloud users?  Salesforce customers use Experience Cloud to support their customers.  It is where revenue is generated to pay SF.  It would seem that if the tool has value for SF users, it would have value for Experience Cloud users.  What am I missing?

If you do not have a leads system set up and you just farm your accounts and put potential leads into prospecting right away, what can you do to fix this sales process? Creating a custom convert button takes long and is challenging if it is just used to farm existing accounts until a marketing system is setup for leads.

    Hello,  

     

    If your sales process starts with farming accounts and skips a proper lead system, you can streamline it by focusing on clear segmentation and simpler processes until a more robust marketing system is in place. Start by using account-based fields (Potential Opportunity or Prospect Status) to track farming progress directly within accounts. You can also create a simple custom object or a checklist for tracking early-stage opportunities without relying on full lead management.  

     

    If creating a custom convert button is too time-consuming, consider using Salesforce automation tools like Flow to assign and update statuses based on criteria (account activity or potential deal size). This will allow you to nurture prospects efficiently within accounts while keeping track of progress for when a proper lead system is eventually implemented.
