Expect topics such as Hyperforce, org migrations, instance refreshes, scheduled maintenance, security enhancements and feature retirement. Ask questions, find resources and get information with details, updates, best practices, and maintenance info. Our production org moved over this weekend following a few months of the sandboxes being available on it, and we've almost immediately started to see a substantial increase in row lock and database contention errors for code that has been working just fine for a long time now.

We've opened a support ticket, as this is on the critical revenue path of a portion of our website, but curious if others have seen this kind of behavior.

Was not expecting the database layer to be where we saw post-launch problems.

Increase in database row locks and write contention post-Hyperforce?

@Frank Caron Thank you! If it wouldn't be too much to ask, can you share the most valuable metrics for your company that you were able to collect and visualize in Datadog?

Hi Team,

One of our customers is preparing for hyperforce migration and is looking for the below info.

Can you please advise?

1.Does Hyperforce migration affect Amazon Contact Center - for salesforce voice and TechSee - for VRA?

2.Does Amazon Contact Center - for salesforce voice and TechSee - for VRA use hard coded IP allow list to secure connection with Salesforce?

3.If hard coded allow list is not used what do these apps use to secure connection with salesforce?

Thanks

I have noticed the following description in the Pre-Org Migration Checklist Row 42:

11] Customer Business Readiness Preparations (Optional)

Notify (Chatter & Email) all employees that:

Login URL will change?

What does this mean? Will the login URL change during migration?

    Hi @向 征,

You might be referring to below:

When your My Domain login URL or site URL changes, authentication methods such as SSO and multi-factor authentication (MFA) can stop working. To preserve access to Salesforce and prevent end-user frustration, we recommend that you verify backup methods and communicate to your users before you deploy enhanced domains. For more information, see Preserve Login Access During a My Domain Login URL Change in Salesforce Help. If you plan to enable MFA and deploy enhanced domains within a short time, you can minimize the required updates to MFA by deploying enhanced domains first.

I have confirmed that as of October 21, 2024, the root certificate for the SSL certificate of ap44.salesforce.com is [DigiCert Global Root CA]. However, my understanding is that Mozilla plans to gradually treat this root certificate as "untrusted" starting in 2025. Does Salesforce have any plans to change this root certificate within the next year or two? If there are any plans to change the root certificate, will there be any prior announcement regarding which root certificate will be used?

@Steven Lawrance  Thank you for your response. I understand the necessity of transitioning the root certificate and that prior notice will be provided to the community before such a transition takes place. I have a few additional questions for clarification. First, when a root certificate is changed, how far in advance is the notice typically provided? For regular certificate updates, I understand that notifications are usually sent about one month prior. However, how does this timeline differ for root certificate changes? Second, regarding the API for login.salesforce.com, the current certificate is set to expire on February 5, 2025. Will this certificate be renewed with the existing root certificate, "DigiCert Global Root CA"?

Regarding the root certificate change for login.salesforce.com, it has a significant impact on me personally, so I would like to know the situation as early as possible.

The same day that our org moved to hyperforce, CRMA dashboards in the community experience site are no longer visible, and I can't figure out why - Has anyone else experienced anything like this? We have not made any other changes to these dashboards, apps, or data sets...

Hello friends.

After migration to hyperforce all of the emails sent from service cloud appears to be blocked/blacklisted by a major email provider in Australia (bigpond.com).

I am trying to figure out if it is just coincidence that we were blocked around the same time we were moved to hyperforce, or if it is hyperforce's variable IPs that caused us to be blacklisted.

So, has this happened to anyone else?  thanks!!
