Scheduled Extract Refresh Failure for Workbook Using Excel File on UNC Path

I am experiencing an issue with a scheduled extract refresh on Tableau Server.

Setup:

  • Workbook is saved as .twb.
  • An Excel data source is joined with our Finance DataMart.
  • The Excel file is connected using a UNC path: 
\\afcu-nas1\Vol1

The workbook publishes successfully and can be accessed by users.

Check that the file exists and that you have sufficient access privileges for it.

Could you please help us understand:

  • Why Tableau is attempting to access a FAKEPATH instead of the configured UNC path?
  • Whether additional server permissions or configuration are required for scheduled refreshes against an Excel file on a network share?
  • Any recommended steps to resolve this issue and enable automated refreshes?

Agentforce employee agent in experience cloud

Hi 

Need help adding employee agent in experience cloud. I have created employee agent , messaging channel,  fallback queue and configured omni channel flow i choose employee agent and add my employee agent. 

 

In site the agent is joining and transfer request is initiated.  How to make the agent to answer without transfer

Permissions required to give users read access to Accounts

Hi @Judi Sohn

  I while back I had a question about how to let users see what Accounts others had created. I am getting back to that now but I can't find your response which had some Youtube videos.  

Could you reshare?  

I have looked at Permission sets and other actions but still can't make the access work

Using the 'send email' option from within 'contacts'

The process has changed since last month and I'm lost. I'm trying to use the send email option to a selected list of contacts. I used to have a filtered list, choose send email, then select a format which could then be edited and I would select the template icon which would let me know it would override anything I had already typed - which was fine since I wanted to use the template, and then send.  

Now, however, I am unable to follow the same process... I select my contacts, click send email, and I'm unable to find anything that looks remotely possible to use the template I've created to send out... 

Any help is appreciated.

Como usar um agente criado na conta Developer Edition?

Desejo usar o agente no meu dia a dia mas não consigo adicionar ele na tela inicial, apenas usar em ambiente de teste.

    Hello @Walter Cassule

    you can create / use it in the instance where you have configured it. Do you access it when clicking on the Einstein head icon on the top of your page / right panel opening after clicking the Einstein head icon ?

Hi Has anyone been able to get Salesforce Mobile app to connect to a Sandbox, if so could you give idiot proof instructions I've tries everywhere but I cant get it to work. Thanks James

    Hello @James Beauchamp

    you are probably trying to log on your sandbox instance, although your app is configured to login on a production instance. See your application settings, and change server to make sure that the connection points to your sandbox URL.
