Updated from Tableau Server 2021.4 to 2022.3; Linked tasks with multiple steps runs only first step and nothing happens after it. No error messages too. The same linked task used to run successfully on server version 2021.4.

server 2022.1(linux) / prep 2022.4.3
'Linked task', which I also used well, had the same problem as the author at some point.
(I tested with 2022.4.3 after using the existing prep 2022.1, but the same problem occurred)
The only way is to update the server, but it is difficult to test right now due to internal circumstances.
I will leave a review after upgrading the server later.
