Right now, I have Tableau Server trial version and Tableau desktop trial version (expired) both in separately
Tableau desktop in my PC
Tableau server in Window Server 2019
Hi @Siti Aisyah Zulkefli
I could imagine the reason why it doesn't work is the fact that a trial version of Tableau server will expire and therefor doesn't offer this feature or having an expired trial version of desktop might lock this feature.
There are alternatives:
1) Use Tableau Public if you want to get familiar with the capabilities. Don't use private data whith Tableau Public as this will be publically available.
2) If you target more the technical capabilities, you could get yourself a cloud sandbox by registering for the developer program of Tableau. Then you won't get a working copy of desktop, as it is intended to try cloud admin, data management, api topics and some other topics like that. But you could connect to data and would have the web edit capabilities. Don't store things you need there as that you need there as the sandbox gets deleted if you don't react in a timely manner.
3) If you are qualified for an academic licence or a NPO-licence you might get a licence for free or at a reduced price:

Hope this helps,
