Hello! I am attempting to write a report where I have an AM Extract of data published separately from the same data run in the PM with some columns linked in a blended situation. I am trying to find when information was pulled in the morning, but missing in the afternoon. Essentially it's when a work order was scheduled in the morning and was rescheduled in the evening. I have examples that SHOULD be showing up on the report that are not. Other than setting up the AM run as an extract that runs at 3am, is there an additional step that needs to be taken so that the AM data is not being refreshed with the separately published pm version of the report?
Thanks for your reply. I think the issue I am experiencing is that I am just not familiar enough with Tableau perhaps. I believe that I'm just not understanding how to have a query run at say 3 AM and then save the results to compare to a PM run of the same data, (I have created 2 separate data sets - 1 that runs at 3am and the second that runs at 10 pm) the 3am query I have set up as an extract while the PM run is live. (should the PM run also be an extract?) I have then created a blended relationship and some calculated fields (such as if the work order number from the AM run = the work order on the PM run, but the data from the PM run is NOT equal - meaning it has been rescheduled). However, from the results I am getting, the work order that was rescheduled is not showing up on the report and I'm wondering if that's because the AM data is refreshing when the PM/calculated fields are being refreshed. I was wondering if there was another setting that needed to be adjusted to prevent the AM run from being refreshed again?
