We are having difficulties getting our salesforce data to automatically refresh. We're being directed to configure the Tableau server, but we aren't using that.
Is there a way to get refreshed Salesforce data without using the server?

Thanks Michael, I just followed those stops and received this error when I went to try an extract to a Salesforce connected workbook.
I added a Consumer Key, Consumer Secret, and CallBack URL to the connection. Those items were generated about ten days ago, so maybe something expired?
