Is there a way to refresh creator product keys that doesn't require each user to log in to desktop and do it manually?

Hi all,

 

We're currently running 2020.2 and have just renewed our licence keys. I'm aware we need to refresh our creator's product keys  (Eg, TCXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) but I'm hoping there is a way I can do it for all of our creators at once, as opposed to asking all of our creators to manually log into desktop and hit refresh. Is this possible?

    Hi, if your Tableau Creator License is:

    a. Not expired, at the moment of renewal.

    b. It is a term license, and

    c. You have access to the Tableau License Server,

     

    Starting in 2021.1 Tableau will automatically refresh the license information (according to:https://help.tableau.com/current/pro/desktop/en-us/license_subscriptions_enterprise.htm#automatically-refresh-product-keys-using-zero-downtime-licensing)

You have access to the Tableau License Server, Starting in 2021.Take into account the final statement: "The product key is not refreshed unless a Tableau Desktop user signs onto Tableau Desktop during those times. For users who do not sign onto Tableau Desktop every day, you must refresh their product keys using the Manage Product Keys menu option"
