I want to show the 10 year treasury rate as one single line, but when I select more than one asset class, the 10 year rate shows up again, I only want it to show one time as it is its own separate metric that shouldn't be attached to a separate asset class. Please see my attached image as an example, any help would be greatly appreciated!
@Romario Zizolli
so am I understanding you correctly here?
you're looking for:
1) Market Yield - 1 line per asset class and not showing the Sum.
Question on this one - what # should be showing? can you give me an example month and asset class and the market yield that should be showing? I ask because I see each month/assets class has 4 market yield values (except May often being Null)
2) 10-Year Rate - 1 line regardless of asset class - this was the initial ask that we addressed. Seems the 10-year rate is the same for each asset.
3) Market Value - Stacked Bar where each asset has its own color
And the requirement is for all three of these to be in the same view? Personally, I think this is too much going on in one view. It will be difficult to quickly distinguish between the 10-Year Rate line vs the multiple Market Yield lines. Not to mention the multiple colors from the stacked bars behind these lines. If it were me, I would take a step back and ask what question am I trying to answer here? It's possible that what you're trying to fit into one chart here may require a dashboard to more clearly tell the story. Also, it looks like there's no May data for some metrics but that's not obvious in the chart - it's a bit misleading.
Either way, please take a look at the red sheet in the attached and see if that's what you're looking for. If so, please mark this as best answer to close the thread.
