Same period last year

Hello everybody!

 

I'm trying to do a comparison between the sales this year and last year.

 

The problem is that I need the same period this year and last year.

 

Example:

 

I have the sales from Jan/2017 to Sep/2017.

 

I need to filter from Jan/2016 to Sep/2016 and update automatically every month.

 

Can anyone help me?

    Hi Arthur

     

    I am not sure how you define the last date of this year, but guessing your try to calculate up to the latest date of existing data.

    And here is an example of concept study.

     

    Solution can be very different from your data structure, so please attach your packaged workbook if hit dopes not help.
