Hi all,
I'm still getting error 0x80070643 whilst trying to install tableau public. I have never had a problem updating in the past, but now it's impossible.
It's looking for an installation file that doesn't exist "tableau-setup-pub-tableau-2020-2.20.0614.2338-x64.msi".
I've looked on here, surfed the web and asked support for answers, I've done everything recommended but still no luck. The only other option is to reformat hard drive, but I think this is a bit excessive.

Well I found what the issues was. There was a big problem with the .NET services on my PC so a re-install of windows was needed after all!!
Tableau Public has now installed!!!!
