Update a filter on a dashboard depending on selection of another filter?

I have two filters on my dashboard.  One with states, the other with cities.  If I choose a state or a city from either filter, it updates the worksheets on my dashboard.  But how do I link the two so if I choose a state, the city filter updates w/ just the cities in that state?  Thank you!
