Q1: As Tableau grows within your organization, how do you handle version control? Right now if I downloaded a workbook, make a change, publish that change, and found out my co-worker just did the same, we would have to discuss our changes and figure out what version to keep and what needs to be merge. Any Git solutions? How are you handling this?
Q2: As Tableau grows within your organization, how do you deploy changes from dev/staging/prod in an automated way? It's a very manual process for us and I'm curious how others are scaling this?
Any feedback on both of these topics would be much appreciated!
We try to have a single 'owner' of a dashboard. Everybody is capable of reviewing a dashboard, but any/all feedback needs to go the necessary creator to review and implement the changes. Having multiple creators on a viz is tough.
I'm curious if you've found anything outside of the community.
