Dear excellent community. I'm probably overcomplicating this, but I'm completely stuck and would very much appreciate your help. I need to plot a calculated overall benchmark/goal to give my data context. Usually I do this by adding a reference line linked to a parameter so the user can change the benchmark (BM) if they wish. However, my data now has different BMs depending on the relevant category, so, for example, Fred has a BM of 40% and Ginger's is 80%. If I plot Fred and Ginger separately, it's easy to add a reference line for each. But I need to see the overall BM goal, based on a weighted average and can't figure out how to show this. I am open to completely different solutions ie doesn't have to be a reference line and the BMs don't necessarily have to be parameter-based, but that's my ideal. FYI, my real workbook is already using the secondary axis for another variable so we can't use that.

Please find attached a sample workbook.

In summary, on the second worksheet I'd like to add a single BM reference line that shows a weighted average benchmark, in this case 50.3% . I've also added a table showing the weighted average, and added an unweighted average just for fun.

Hoping you can work some magic for me. TIA.

    Ciao @Tonia Perretta

"Buona Sera, come stai" ! Here is a simple solution I came up with and I did not use the other axis as you had mentioned. Let me know if this works for you (I did modify it a bit):

    Ciao @Tonia Perretta

I did forget "Smoke gets in your eyes" and a few other hits but these 2 (songs and the duo)

    were truly timeless !

I have attached the twbx file and hope this was helpful, correctly answered your question and

above all was entertaining ("There's No Viz like ShowViz").

Just to go back to the good old days (30s and 40s) or the Time Date dimension, I was actually

listening to 2 of my favorite songs by the legendary Duo. Take care, best wishes, "Arrivederci"

    Sincerely,

    Soumitra
