Hello -
I'm looking for ideas on an alternative viz rather than the "thermometer" gauge. We have a target number and we want to see how we are tracking to it.
I admit, I am a finance person so all I want to see are numbers and am working on being more creative with vizs.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Hi David,
As you have a target value (I'm in KPI headspace here), you could try an inverted bar chart showing the distance from/over the goal - kinda like this
