Good afternoon Tableau community,
I am running into an issue with the Tableau Server Alerts where after I setup the alert, and the condition is true, the alert doesn't send out. Attached is an example packaged workbook. Because the alert lives on the Tableau Server, I am also attaching a screenshot of the alert setup on the sheet. In the Tableau Server screenshot you can see when the alert last checked, but under the last alert it is saying never. Has anyone been having issues when setting up alerts within the Tableau Server?

Darren - from the basic setup to SMTP to receive Emails and Alerts in general should be in place (Configure SMTP Setup). I am assuming you have that already configured in your Tableau Config utility. I didn't have to change any settings for this to work on my Server.
