i have a strange situation with some of our reports. When i publish the reports to Tableau server everything is fine and i have them auto-refreshed on a daily basis (data linked to Oracle - and use Extract). However, after a few days the reports stop updating and all the data disappears until i download the workbook, manually refresh the data and re-publish to server.

Hi Konstantinos,
It might be a reason that you have not enabled the permission for refresh during the publishing of the workbook.
By Default is set to Refresh not enabled change it to Allow refresh access retest the same.
