Cannot request connection to Salesforce Org in Slack Playground

Hello team, I'm trying to accomplish the Prepare Your Slack Playground trail and whatever I do, I cannot connect the SF org to Slack. Whenever I click the Request Connection button I get an error message:

There was a problem requesting your Salesforce connection

Try again or restart Slack. If the problem continues, contact us

@Mike Meadows FYI, Slack support team is aware about the issue and is looking in this.
