Create a Permission Set for Access to Positions

Hello Community,

 

I am working on the challenges exercise on the "Permission Set for Access to Positions. I have tried to redo couple of times and it's still showing this message. "We can't find that the ‘Manage Positions’ permission set grants read, create, and edit object permissions for Position." 

 

Not sure if anyone would have an answer to this?

    Hey Team 

    I am trying to create a Custom Object for Job Posting Sites but not passing the Challenge. It shows data type is not URL. So, I changed it to Text Area. But it still shows the same error. I attached the screenshot below. Please suggest me for troubleshooting. 

     

    Note: I created new Org and installed the packages.

    Did you follow all the steps in the module? You will have to complete all the exercise above or else, it wouldn't work.

    Pre-Work

     

    If you haven’t already created the Recruiters permission set group described in this unit, do that now. Otherwise, you won't be able to complete this challenge." 

     

    After creating the permission set "Manage Positions", you will need to add the permission set to the Recruiters permission set group.

     @Rick Lai Thank you for your answer. Yes, I'm getting the same message.  Do I need to have the recruiting application installed? Because I am currently training on a sales application.

    Did you have the same message shown? As Divya mentioned, you have to make sure the permission set name and permissions are correct.

    • Make sure permission set name is correct
    • Make sure permissions are correct
    • make sure you are checking the challenge in correct org
