For the activity: "Customize Record Highlights with Compact Layouts"
I have completed the activity but it is still saying: The 'New Oppty Compact Layout' compact list is not configured for the opportunity object.
Can anyone help.
if there are two opportunity objects then
delete one opportunity object whose ( type "custom" ) then check challenge

You can't share screenshots from eamil reply, you need to be in trailhead.
If you’re having trouble with the “New Oppty Compact Layout,” it’s likely not set as the primary compact layout for the Opportunity object. You can try check under Setup > Object Manager > Opportunity > Compact Layouts to make sure it exists.
If not, create it, select key fields and save it. Then, assign it under Compact Layout Assignment as the primary layout. Refresh your page or relaunch Trailhead if changes don’t appear. :)

@Michal Kwiatkowski If it did not work in the new PG you created then I would suggest to reach out to the Salesforce Trailhead support.

I've created brand new playground after weekend and issue still exists. Do you have any other tools to help users than suggesting to restart?
