Hi everyone,
I'm having trouble with any formula that I've tried whilst attempting to extract the time from the end of this text string into a TIME field. I get a blank result every the time - pardon the pun.
Some of the records have AM/PM on the end and some do not. I've had all sorts of attempts with LEN MID etc. to extract without success. I can't even enter a raw number into the formula itself just as a test, I get an error on Save, so keen to know what's incorrect there too.
Input from anyone who can offer a solution or suggestions would be very appreciated.
My ultimate goal is to capture the TEXT date/time value into an actual date/time field. I've extracted the year OK as you can see but the time is giving me this grief. I figured it's too complex to try and work with 1 formula to do the entire transformation hence breaking it down like this.

There's a bug
This smells like a Salesforce bug: if I have a Time formula TIMEVALUE('9:45:00.000'), I get a proper time 9:45. But if I have a Text formula that produces a Text '9:45:00.000' and I use that in a Time formula, then all of a sudden things stop working (list view, report).
