Good day,
Attempting to complete the Automate Your Survey Invitations, however I keep getting that the system cannot find my resource:
Challenge not yet complete in Service Learning:
We can’t find the resource Survey Recipient.
It looks like the system is looking for a resource with API name in the flow of 'Survey Recipient'. Seeing that the system will not allow me to input an API resource with a space in it, how can I complete this challenge?
Thanks,
Steve
What I suspect is that while creating a variable you might have copied/pasted the value for Default Value: {!$Record.Owner.Id}. However, it should be selected from the drop-down by selecting Record then owner, and then id.
I did the same and it worked.
I just did this challenge today, I was getting the same error here is the catch.
- Default Value: {!$Record.Owner.Id} make sure that you select
- Record --> Owner --> add a period and then select Id.
While creating a variable resource, in the default field value, when you click the text box a dropdown will appear. Find the record in the dropdown and then owner and then ID.
Dear @Aishwarya Richharia,
The content is found here: Automate Your Survey Invitations. The content is looking for a specifically named variable in a flow. However, your variables cannot have spaces in the names. Every time I attempt to adjust the name the system auto removes the space. Then when I have it check the completed challenge it states it cannot find the variable name. Thank you for reaching out and looking into this!
Best regards,
Stephen
Qual caminho, no menu suspenso, selecionar Registro, proprietário e ID.
não consegui achar para tentar fazer dessa forma @Apul Jain
@Apul Jain I initially followed already the steps that you provided and did select the variable accodingly. However I still got the same error message We can’t find the resource Survey Recipient.
Funny enough I was able to successfully debug
and the ressource is visible in my flow.
Any idea?
@Apul Jain, I deleted the variable completely and selected each item as you suggested and with the refresh it did validate and find the variable reference this time. Thank you for the help!
Thank you so much for this @Apul Jain . you were right. That was the issue.
Guys above is the solution if you still stuck :)
