Enable Entitlements and Set Up Service Contracts Unit | Salesforce

The error "We can't find the Entitlements related list on the Account page layout."

was reflected.

But I checked it is OK.

Do you know how to update status.

    I leave the answer what I solved.

    Follow below step.

    1. Edit the Record Type of Account

        Absolutely, you must got error message when deactivate Record Type.

        But push it.  SO you can see the profile list have usage of this Record Type.

    3. Go Record Type Setting (scroll down this page)

    4.Remove Selected Record Type

    You almost touch down. It is nine yard.

    5. If you remove each profile's Selected Record Type, You can deactivate this Record Type.

    6. After the check deactivate of that Record Type, You VERIFY again.

     

    That was my case when can't not find Entitlements in page layout of Account object.

    Thanks for the detailed work around. It worked for me. But don't understand why this step is validated in this way.

    I'm going straight through the Prepare for Your Salesforce Administrator Credential Trailmix using a single Trailhead Playground and ran into this error today. But I was able to get this resolved relatively quickly thanks to all the comments from fellow Trailblazers, so I'd like to pitch in with what worked/what didn't work for me.

     

    DIDN'T WORK: Service Setup > Object Manager > Account > Page Layouts > changing the "Page Layout To Use" to "Account Layout" for all of the profiles.

    I'm going straight through the Prepare for Your Salesforce Administrator Credential Trailmix using a single Trailhead Playground and ran into this error today.

    WORKED: 1. Service Setup > Object Manager > Account > Record Types (there should be 2 active ones; Customer Account and Partner Account) > try to disable the Customer Account one so you'll get the error message (below), along with a list of profiles that use that record type as the default. 

     

    Example with Partner Account:

    2. Once you know which profile(s) you want to change the default for, go to Setup > Profiles > choose the profile, scroll down to "Record Type Settings", and remove everything (except "--Master--", because something has to be selected).

    Example:

    I only had to do this with 2 profiles (I didn't have to edit the Partner Account profiles) so it was relatively quick and painless. Hope this helps someone out there!

    Hello @Keiji Otsubo I am having trouble with this. I believe because the module required creating a new playground, I think I lost all of my old settings. I am unable to see the Entitlements tab in my cases and have to record types to edit. Please see screenshots below.

    Hi @Kazuki Iwata ,

     

    You cannot have record types enabled (active) for the account object. Please double check that there is no active record type on account object.

    If still face the issue, You can try out this  

    • clear browser cache and log-out & log-in then check your challenge 
    • Check your challenge in incognito/Private mode or in a different browser.
