Hi,

Like many of you, I was very excited to see the release of the Integration Only License and have been reconfiguring the api user that connects our ERP system to Salesforce.

We use this integration to update the inventory (Serialized Product) our field team uses during patient procedures.

I got as far as building out a new permission set to grant the access required for the job to create and delete Serialized Products, and create new Product Items on Locations.  When I went to assign this new PS to the api user in our sandbox, I began to receive various messages that the permission levels I granting were not allowed with this license.

We can not be the only org who is using an integration job to move inventory between an ERP system and Salesforce. Does anyone have a workaround for this? It's a bit inconceivable that access to these objects would be so restricted given the standard practice of moving inventory between Salesforce and an ERP system via an integration job.

New Integration License- No Create On Product Items or Serialized Products

If I'm missing an obvious work around, please let me know!

Thanks,

Miare

Yeah, that’s a straight up bug problem that they need to fix. I’m glad that you were able to get them as a known issue.

I would bring it to your account teams attention that this is a big problem for you guys. Now all of that it is just a matter of getting them to prioritize fixing it
