An org. I am working with is seeing a lot of duplicate accounts being created when users are converting leads that are related to an existing account record (as identified by the Related Account field on the lead object). Although the existing account is identified on the lead, many users are still choosing to create a new account on the lead conversion form.
What is the best way for me to prevent this from happening? I know there are several different ways of tackling this, but wanted to see if other people had suggestions based on their experience with similar/same situation. My initial thought was a VR...
For context, this org. is using the Financial Services Cloud managed package.
