Need Help Adding Profiles To My Search Layout

Hello, I am currently adding stuff to a new org, and I am making it exactly the same as an old org. In the old org under a custom object the 'search layout' button has 31 profiles, I am having a hard time adding the profiles to the search layout button in the new org because there isn't exactl a button that says "Add Profiles". Would someone please help me?

    Hi Sohail, 

     

    It might help if you can share a picture of what you are seeing. On my end, here is what it looks like for a custom object in my org called Accommodations. 

     

    1. In the object manager I go to my Accommodations object

     

    2. In the lefthand pane, I click Search Layouts

     

    3. This brings up the default Search Layout plus a list of all profiles, and what columns are displayed for each one.  Next to each profile it says Default Layout, and this because I have not specified a custom search layout for specific profiles.  That means, users in each profile are using the default search layout for that object, which I could then adjust the columns as needed. 

     

    Are you seeing something else when you access the Search Layouts screen?
