    Hello Olivia,

I see that you worked with our support team and wanted to share the information provided by the support agent to benefit others in the community looking for similar questions. After some testing, the support agent confirmed that this is created by Marketing Cloud.

When the event is placed into an interaction and it is activated, multiple things happen:

    a) A data extension is created (with fields of the Event data selected by the event definition).

    b) An attribute group is created in Contact Builder and the DE that was created is automatically linked.

    c) Also, this DE is added to the Channel Address Order in Contacts Configuration. This is another thing to confirm didn't timeout if an interaction is not behaving as it should.

    d) A workflow is created in their SF instance. This can be found by going to Setup | Create | Workflow & Approvals | Flows within Salesforce. The flow will have the naming convention of "JBSystemFlow_" + the name of the source object selected by the event.

    Thank you!
