Hands-on challenges are the “secret sauce” of Trailhead. Before searching for solutions to superbadge challenges, review the Salesforce Certification Program Agreement and Policies. ** NOTE ** : If you were able to get a response that solved your issue, please mark it as the 'Best Answer' to help other Trailblazers. If the issue persists after 48 hours, create a Trailhead Help case at https://help.salesforce.com/s/support for further assistance.

Hi All,

I am trying to complete the Predictive Outputs from Model Builder <

Build a Predictive Model in Model Builder, and I am getting the error - In the Predicted Conversion model, Autopilot has not been disabled." Click the toggle in the upper right corner to disable Autopilot. Autopilot helps you quickly weed through data to identify useful variables for the outcome. For this module, let’s select fields manually." Unfortunately, I can't able to see the toggle. Looking for assistance on this, please refer to the attached screenshot of the same.Challenge not yet complete in Predictive Models in Model Builder

Thanks

    Hi @Sumit Dhamija & @Teresa Palmer

Please follow the steps below, and this will fix the issue. You need to create a new org.

    1) Login into your Trailhead account

    2) Navigate to the Trailhead badge that you are working on

    3) Click on the profile picture icon on the top right of the screen

    4) Now click on Hands-on Orgs

    5) Click on " Create playground " at the top

    6) Once the new playground is created, you should be able to see the disconnect button now enabled next to the Custom Predictive Models in Model Builder Playground, which you are referring to

    7) Click on disconnect next to it

    8) Once the org is successfully disconnected, navigate back to the badge, and you should now see the " create playground button enabled, which should allow you to create a new org as expected. Once the new org is created, click on the launch button next to it and follow the badge instructions, which should allow you to proceed further.

    Thanks.

Hi,

while I have almost completed all the steps I found the

rating

filed was not Under account object so I created one with text data type and give admin visibility as well, but its still not working.

On the New Account Page, we can’t find the Rating field in the Dynamic Highlights Panel.

You created a custom Rating field (Text data type), but the challenge expects the standard Rating field on the Account object (which is a Picklist).

Delete the custom field you created (if possible) to avoid confusion.

Go to Setup --> Object Manager --> Account --> Fields & Relationships.

Delete the custom "Rating" field (Text).

    Use the Standard Rating Field

The standard Rating field already exists on Account (it's a picklist with values like Hot, Warm, Cold).

Add it to the Dynamic Highlights Panel

In Lightning App Builder (on your New Account Page):

Select the Dynamic Highlights Panel component.

On the right side, go to the Fields tab (not Components).

Search for Rating — the standard one should now appear.

Drag Rating into the Dynamic Highlights Panel.

Also make sure Account Name is set as the Primary Field.

     Save & Activate

     Save the page.

Activate it as Org Default (or assign to the relevant app/profile).

I've been going through the Prepare for Your Salesforce Administrator Credential

trailmix and am on the data security module but am running in severe issues with completing the challenges because there is so much prerequisite work from other modules that was not specified beforehand.

For example, I am trying to complete the "Define Sharing Rules" section where I am supposed to create a custom field for the program object but there is no program object. Nowhere in the data security module did it have me create a program object. I am not even sure that you create one in the "Build Platform Apps" module, but am I supposed to go through this entire module first (I completed the

Build a Data Model for a Recruiting App

project so I could use the recruiting app that is needed)?

I have experienced other issues with this module like it pulling in my personal org hierarchy vs the example company in the screenshot, among others, and am getting pretty frustrated with having to troubleshoot so much.

Is this normal? Is it implied that I am supposed to create the Program object as part of the challenge or is there prerequisite work I should have done before attempting this module? I am so confused, any help would be appreciated.

    @Keiji Otsubo

hm no it, looks like it changed a bit. This is the criteria now:

    • Create a custom field for the Program object:
      • Field Type: Picklist
      • Field Label: Type
      • Field Name: Type
      • Values (each value separated by a new line):
        • Campus Outreach
        • Development
        • Research
      • On the field-level security page, set this field as Visible for all profiles or as Read Access for all permission sets. (This step assures the challenge passes.)
    • Create a sharing rule for the Program object:
      • Label: Campus Outreach Programs
      • Rule Name: Campus_Outreach_Programs
      • Rule Type: Based on criteria
      • Field: Type
      • Operator: equals
      • Value: Campus Outreach
      • Share with (role): Recruiter
      • Access level: Read/Write

After adding the custom button in the custom button box in Contact layout page and as well as Salesforce Lightning experience section, still I am not able to see in Salesforce lightning section of contact page. I am stuck with the challenge for Create Custom links and Buttons. Can anyone please help?

Steps I followed:

Custom button not appearing in contacts page layout?

  1. Setup- Object - contact
  2. Button &links click
  3. New buttons and links
  4. Add label
  5. Add name ( default)
  6. Click on display page button(radio button)
  7. Add url- https://www.google.com/search?q={!Contact.Name}
  8. Rest all default
  9. Save
  10. Go to page layout page for contact page
  11. Click on Mobile and lightning Action from the left panel.
  12. Drag google info to the Salesforce lightning Action section below.
  13. Click again from left panel (buttons), and drag and drop google info into custom buttons box. Save.
  14. Go to app launcher, type sales, drop-down contacts, click on any record. At the right most drop down, look for Google info.

These above are my steps. But I’m not seeing google info in the lightning experience.

And the challenge says that google -info name is not seen in contact layout page

    Hi Josephine,

    A few things to check:

    1. Log out and log back in. Sometimes the old page is cached and changes to page layouts are not immediately shown

     2. Make sure your custom button is of type button. By default when you create a new button, I want to say it defaults to display as a custom link instead of a custom button

    3. Make sure you don't have Dynamic Actions on that record's Lightning Page. If you click the Setup gear icon and click Edit Page it should tell you if you have Dynamic Forms enabled or not. If they're enabled, that button will need to be added there instead of the page layout

    4. Make sure you've added the button to the page layout assigned to your profile, in the event there are multiple page layouts on that object

    Thanks,

    Mikey

Hello Salesforce Community , My name is Riad, and I am currently focused on building a career specifically in Salesforce Administration.

I am not looking for a general job — my goal is to gain real, hands-on experience strictly in Salesforce.

I am currently seeking:

  • Salesforce Internship (remote or on-site)
  • Volunteer opportunities in Salesforce projects
  • Junior-level exposure to real Salesforce environments

My objective is simple:  To work directly on Salesforce, learn from real scenarios, and build practical experience before pursuing certification.

I am ready to:

  • Assist with basic admin tasks (data entry, user setup, reports, dashboards)
  • Support ongoing Salesforce projects
  • Learn quickly and commit seriously

I am open to unpaid or part-time opportunities if it helps me gain real Salesforce experience.

If anyone can guide me, mentor me, or offer even a small opportunity in Salesforce, I would truly appreciate it.

Thank you in advance for your support.

@riad bouchenak You do not need to wait for a certification to start getting real Salesforce experience. If your goal is Salesforce Admin specifically, I would focus on building proof of hands-on work first. The best starting point is a Trailhead Playground and a free Developer Edition org, because both let you practice in a real Salesforce environment instead of only reading theory. Trailhead’s own guidance for Playground Management is literally to create hands-on orgs and practice your Salesforce skills, and Salesforce Developers also offers free trial orgs for testing and development.

    Check this Trail: https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/trails/learn_salesforce_with_trailhead

A practical path would be this. Start with Salesforce Fundamentals and the Salesforce Admin Career Path, then build things that look like real admin work: create users, profiles, permission sets, custom objects, page layouts, validation rules, reports, dashboards, list views, flows, and basic automation. Salesforce positions Career Paths as guided, role-specific learning with hands-on practice, and the Admin path is specifically built around the Salesforce Admin role.

    Check for reference: https://www.salesforce.com/learningprograms/

Then make your practice look like experience. Do not just say “I completed badges.” Build 2 or 3 small portfolio projects in your org, for example:

    •  a help desk org with cases, queues, assignment rules, and dashboards
    •  a sales pipeline org with leads, opportunities, approval flow, and reports
    •  a nonprofit donor tracking org with contacts, campaigns, and automation

That matters because Salesforce’s Trailblazer Career Marketplace lets you showcase projects

, work history, and additional career details through Career Mode, not just certifications. Employers can search based on skills, products, and profile details.

    For reference: https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/modules/trailhead-career-marketplace-quick-look/learn-about-the-trailblazer-career-marketplace

For real-world exposure, volunteering is one of the most legitimate paths when you are new. Salesforce has an official Trailhead trail called Volunteer Your Salesforce Expertise, and it is specifically about helping nonprofits and education organizations through pro bono Salesforce work. It also covers project scoping, sustainable solution design, deployment, and handoff, which is exactly the kind of experience beginners usually lack.

    For reference: https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/trails/volunteer-your-salesforce-expertise

I would also actively plug into the community, not passively wait for opportunities. Join the Admin Trailblazer Community, local Trailblazer Community Groups, and mentorship spaces. Salesforce’s Admin Career Path links directly to the Admin community, and Salesforce’s learning programs also point beginners toward community and mentorship opportunities.

I'm on Challenge 3 of the Get Started with the Models API, 'Create a Models API Lightning Web Component'. My problem is the last task I'm asked to do is, Drag a modelsAPIDashboard Lightning web component from the Custom Area of the Lighning Components list to the top of the Home Page Canvas. However, I do not have permission to edit the Home Page. The AI Playground that was created as part of the Challenge has given me the Profile of a HOC Data Cloud User and not an Admin. And I have no way of changing this or using another Playground/Dev Org. Any ideas ?

    Hi @Swapan Swaroop

Have you created  the field "Support Plan Start Date" in Account object with Date data type.

Verify the visibility to all the profile and read only access to all the profiles except the System Administrator and  Custom Support Profile.

Hi @Bilal Ahamed I am a member of Trailhead Help, Apologies for the inconvenience. Could you please re-do the module in the New Custom Data Cloud Playground.

Kindly follow the steps below to disconnect your current Custom Data Cloud Playground and create a new one.

    1. Go to a standard playground badge like this one: https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/projects/configure-a-net-zero-cloud-org/create-net-zero-cloud-profiles-and-users
    2. Scroll to the bottom and click the 3 dots next to the playground listed
    3. Click Manage Orgs
    4. Click Create Playground
    5. When it is made, refresh the page and you should be able to click Disconnect next to the Data Cloud Playground Org (org starting with Epic.....)

Post these steps, navigate to https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/projects/unstructured-data-in-data-cloud/get-started-with-unstructured-data-in-data-cloud, refresh the page and you should be able to create a new org.

     Thank you!

I created a new playground, followed all the steps multiple times, and I'm still getting the same error. I made sure Ada does exist and the account is active. So why am I getting this error and how do I fix it?

We can't find the user named 'Ada Balewa' with the profile 'Custom: Support Profile'.
