It's been a couple months since we moved to lightning however, today when several of our users logged into Salesforce they were unable to access our classic managed app from the app launcher. I went into the app manager and noticed that the 'visible in lightning experience' checkbox wasn't checked. I went to edit it and noticed that I'm unable to edit the 'show in lightning experience' checkbox (it's grayed out). So then I tried to mark the app as visible for all profiles but when I save it it just reverts back to the old values. I also tried to upgrade the app but the upgrade button isn't an option my only options are edit and delete. I'm not sure what's going on.My classic managed app isn't showing up in lightning and I'm unable to upgrade it eitherUser-added image

This is the behavior I'd expect because you can only update certain attributes of managed packages.

For managed Custom Apps, the following items are editable:

    • Label
    • Document
    • Description
    • Default Landing Tab
    • Is Navigation Menu Personalization Disabled
    • Is Navigation Menu Automatically Create Temporary Tabs Disabled

Other attributes are locked to simplify the upgrade process.

I would contact the publisher of the package to get more information on whether or not it will be available in Lightning Experience.
