dependant picklist

Question

Hello everyone,

I am trying to achieve the following:

In Case i have the Picklist TYPE and the Picklist CASE REASON.

i want those picklists to be dependant, so if i select option A in TYPE then i will only have 3 on the 10 Case reasons possible on the Picklist CASE REASON.

Any idea ?

Go to set up> Object manager> Cases> Fields & Relationships> Click on Field Dependencies"

Click on New then select Type as the controlling field and your custom picklist as the dependent.

You can then select which values to associate (use Ctrl+left click to select more than one, then click on Include values and save

I understand , let say I create custom picklists , how do i connect them ?
