How to add 'last opened' to Activity History in related lists?

Under related lists on a contact page, we have both HTML Email Status and Activity History, both of which record email, although they do not seem to record the same emails. (Not sure why this is).

 

But we have 'Last opened' under HTML Email Status, but I can not seem to add it to Activity History.

 

Any ideas?

    Hi Samantha,

     

    I don't think you can add the Last Opened field into the Activity History via standard functionality. The field is specific to tracking HTML Emails/email message object and is specific to the HTML Email Status related list. The Activity History related list also tracks the emails, but will only display Task/Activity fields.
