I have an email alert (confirmation email) being sent out with an approval process, and I would like to auto associate this email to the record that's in the approval process.  How can I automatically do this?

 

We don't want to have to receive the email for proof of the email being sent or to see the content.  We would like to have the email auto attached to the record it's associated to so users can access it later.

    Unfortunately, emails generated via workflow don't get attached to the emails related list on the case. You'd probably have to use custom code to do this.
