How valuable is the portfolio badge that I just attached a screenshot of??

Is anyone on Salesforce using this?

I have a comprehensive resume and also a LinkedIn profile... Do I really need this type of portfolio as well? Do you feel it's instrumental in showcasing achievements as the badge claims? What do you think of the quality of portfolio one can create? I thought it seemed a bit rudimentary in the example.
